ਕਢਾਈ – Kadhaaee (pronounced Kuh-dh-aa-ee) means embroidery in Punjabi. Yet it’s a word that carries generations of artistry, craft, and storytelling. In Punjab embroidery is not simply decoration, it is a language of memory, each pattern is a record of heritage and family histories.

My embroidery draws inspiration from my Punjabi-Sikh South Asian heritage, to the textiles and details I encounter. Every design draws on different influences, experiences and inspirations. Each piece is my own interpretation of a nuanced craft and art form, honouring the traditions and cultural roots from which it has grown.
