Jyoti, phulkari embroidery set

£20.00

Three occasions, one piece, woven in shades of gold. Three celebrations, each with a story to be told.

From divas that glow to the candles we light, our traditions carry meanings beyond what is bright.

Freedom and hope, compassion and truth, Knowledge and wisdom, passed down through our roots.

Yet beyond the lights that brighten our homes, There is a light within us, wherever we roam.

And the question is not just how brightly we shine, But how we carry that light through our actions and time.

What you see is more than an embroidery set — it is a reflection of three celebrations: Diwali, Bandi Chhor Divas and Gurpurab.

While each carries its own history and significance, this embroidery piece, Jyoti, brings them together through the symbolism of light, from freedom and hope to truth, knowledge and compassion.

The picture shown is of my own stitched sample, created to give you an idea of how Jyoti might look once completed.
