Crafted Culture - classic phulkari pdf pattern template

£5.00

From petal to patterns, each stitch echoes my roots.

Yet between the folds of tradition, I’m still finding my route.

I am rooted by my ancestors.

I am being re-routed.

And the plan? To bloom like phulkari’s do.

What you see is more than a digital template — it’s a piece of living tradition. Inspired by the geometric patterns and bold floral motifs that define Phulkari, this handcrafted design is a bridge between tradition and the Punjabi diaspora. It honours a craft stitched by generations — where our ancestors call us, and our heritage lives.

The picture shown is of my own stitched sample, created to give you an idea of the style and how this Phulkari design might look once completed. Your choice of fabric and colours will make your piece uniquely yours.

What you will need to have to hand:

  • 4 inch hoop (an easy find in your local craft shop, Hobbycraft, or online shops like DMC or Amazon)

  • Your chosen fabric (cotton may be a better fabric if this is your first time stitching)

  • Your chosen threads (which you can find in your local craft shop, Hobbycraft, or other online shops like DMC or Amazon)

  • Embroidery needles (stocked in a local craft shop, Hobbycraft, or other online shops like DMC or Amazon)

  • Scissors to cut threads (you may find embroidery scissors are better and won’t damage the ends of the threads)

Please note:

You are not purchasing the finished stitched piece. Photos of the finished embroidery are for reference only. This is a digital download and can be printed and transferred onto your chosen fabric for stitching. This product does not include a hoop, threads, fabric, scissors, or needles.

All sales are final. For this reason, we cannot offer refunds on digital downloads, physical sets, or handmade items. At this time, purchases are only available within the UK.
