Crafted Culture - classic phulkari embroidery set

£20.00

From petal to patterns, each stitch echoes my roots.

Yet between the folds of tradition, I’m still finding my route.

I am rooted by my ancestors.

I am being re-routed.

And the plan? To bloom like phulkari’s do.

What you see is more than a digital template — it’s a piece of living tradition. Inspired by the geometric patterns and bold floral motifs that define Phulkari, this handcrafted design is a bridge between tradition and the Punjabi diaspora. It honours a craft stitched by generations — where our ancestors call us, and our heritage lives.

The picture shown is of my own stitched sample, created to give you an idea of the style and how this Phulkari design might look once completed.

What is included in this embroidery set:

  • 4-inch hoop with the classic phulkari pattern hand-drawn on fabric and already set in place — so you can begin stitching straight away, without worrying about tracing or assembling the hoop.

  • DMC threads (in the same colours as the sample)

  • Size 8 embroidery needle

  • Printed instructions to help you get started
